In 1975 Turiya became a disciple of Osho,
an Indian Master. Through his guidance her work took on the
focus of bridging therapy and meditation, to evoke transformation
and thus helping people to awaken to their highest being
and to the fullest potential of their luminous self .
She is currently writing a book with
her colleague, Rafia Morgan, about the “Path
of Love” process,
and is also in the process of writing her own book
on “Love, Sexuality and Intimacy”. She has written
a numerous articles in both “Living Now” and “Insight” magazine,
along with other publications in Europe. She’s also
been interviewed on both Australian and German radio broadcasts.
“As I am now living in
Byron Bay, the focus of my work has really been creating a
space for people to wake up and see beyond our conditions and
to be able to live our life's purpose and destiny. Mostly we
don’t really dare to shine. We compromise ourselves in
order to feel safe and secure, yet deep down something inside
feels unsatisfied and ‘unmet’. We long for deep
fulfilment, we want to change and open up, and yet at the same
time we are afraid of the consequences. Opening up, is
a challenging journey and yet the rewards are immeasurable.
Recently, I have been listening to Oprah and Eckart Toelles
talks on the “Soul Series” in USA, I can see that
so many people are actually ready to open up and to find some
deeper fulfillment in their lives. So, I feel it is such a
special time because on one hand their is so much turmoil in
the world, financial disasters, violent wars, terror attacks,
useless killings, and on the other hand more and more people
are ready to move into awareness, into consciousness and are
ready to meditate and experience the freedom of the mind. It
is a good time to wake up for so many people and live a life
of service and awareness, instead of living in fear and ego
oriented survival patterns.”
